ACMS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is an "A" day, and these are your announcements for September 2nd:
ATTENTION 7TH AND 8TH GRADE GIRLS: Practice for 7th and 8th grade girls track begins today. Interested girls should meet at the high school track by 3:00 p.m. today and practice will end at
4:30 p.m.
All 7th and 8th grade students are reminded to bring their lock and clothing for gym on the first day of their gym class this week.
ATTENTION ALL LEGO ENTHUSIASTS: There will be an informational meeting today for all students interested in joining the FIRST LEGO League competition club team. The meeting will be held in Room 212 from 3:00-3:30 p.m. If you are interested but unable to attend, please see either Mr. Roehl in Room 223 or Ms. Whelan in Room 221.
The first dance of the year is quickly approaching. Next Friday, September 10th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., ACMS's Student Council will be sponsoring a "Welcome Back Pirate" dance. Permission slips are available on the bulletin board outside Room 102, and the permission slip will also be e-mailed to each student. If you turn in a signed permission slip next Tuesday, your admission cost to the dance will only be $2.00! Come celebrate the new school year with friends!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: If you are interested in participating in Student Council this year, you must complete a representative application. These applications are available on the bulletin board outside of Room 102 and are due by next week Wednesday. Please see Ms. Colque in Room 103 or Mr. Giese in Room 102 if you have any questions!
The lunch menu today is chicken parmesan over pasta, or cheeseburgers.
