How Many Books Can I Get?
Each grade has a limit on the number of items they may check out at time outside of class projects.

--Preschool can check out one book and they are kept at school

--Kindergarten may check out one book

--First and Second graders may each check out two books

--Third and Fourth Graders may each check out three books

--Fifth and Sixth Graders may each check out four books

When are my books due back?
Each student should bring the books that they have checked out to each library class that they have.

Books are due back one week from the day that they have been checked out.

Each student may renew their books if they choose multiple times.

Is my book overdue?
Overdue lists are printed and given to teachers once a week. The good news is that there are no overdue fines for books. When the book is returned everything is fine.

The only consequence on not returning your book is the library will not check out anything new to you while you have an overdue book. This is our policy.

What do I do when my book is lost or damaged?
When a book is damaged it must visit the library book hospital to be repaired. If you find something in your that you did not do tell Mrs. Schmuck or Mrs. Stephenson about it and it will get fixed.

If a book is damaged to the point where no one else will be able to check it out or use the book it must be purchased by the person who damaged it.

If a book is lost it must be purchased by the person who lost the book. If the book is found within the year that it was lost the money will be reimbursed.
