7th Grade Pre-Algebra
Pre-Algebra is our mathematics course offered to all 7th graders at RCS. This class has a strong emphasis in basic skills, but it does not stop there. The goal of this class is for students to take their basic skills and apply it to abstract algebra situations. When students have successfully completed this class they will be ready for Algebra I.

8th Grade Alg I
Algebra I is a mathematics course offered to all eighth grade students at RCS. The goal of this class is to for students to become expert problem solvers. Students will use their basic skills to help them solve many types of algebraic, geometric, and non-routine problems. When students successfully complete this course they will be ready for high school geometry.
