Another component of computer virtualization called ThinApp. ThinApps are normal applications like Finale Notepad or Microsoft Word, but the ThinApp technology lets us run them from a shortcut instead of installing them onto a PC. Essentially the application, with all its files and registry changes, is packaged up in a little "bubble" and stored on a server, you run the program through a shortcut to the "bubble". It is also possible for these ThinApps to be portable, meaning they can be run from a flash drive or CDRom.
