Food Drive

The Eighth Grade Leadership Team and the National Honor Society are working together to have a school-wide food drive to bring in some badly needed items for our local food pantry. This food drive starts on Monday, November 16, and ends on Tuesday, November 24, with a school-wide assembly in the upstairs gym. The food that the classes have collected will be used to create a pyramid as a part of a competition. The class that brings in the most items and the team that builds the tallest pyramid will win an ice cream party.

Please send any food donations to school with your child between Nov. 16 and Nov. 24. The items that are greatly needed are as follows: cereal, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, soup, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, and toiletries.

Any donation is greatly appreciated in these hard times before the holiday season.

Snowmobile Safety

Wonewoc-Center HS will be offering a Snowmobile Safety Course in December. Attendance at BOTH sessions is required for certification.

Classes run:

Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.,

AND

Saturday, Dec. 5 from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Anyone born after January 1, 1985, who is 12 years of age or older must have a snowmobile safety certificate to ride in public areas.

Please contact Ms. Leis for more details at 608-464-3165 ext. 115. Cost is $10.
