| Welcome to Little Chute Middle School |
|
Thank you for visiting our LCMS Webpage to learn more about our school. At Little Chute Middle School, we have approximately 300 students in Grades 6-8. Because we are smaller than other middle schools in the area, we feel our students really make a connection with staff and their peers. Throughout the school day, students have 4 Core classes in Math, Science, Social Studies and Communication Arts. In addition, students also rotate through Encore classes each term. Those Encore classes include the following: 6th Grade (Writing, Guidance, Art, Music, Reading, Computer Skills, and Robotics); 7th Grade (Art, Spanish, Tech Ed, Family and Consumer Science, Problem Solving, 6 Trait Writing, World Diversity, and Computer Skills); 8th Grade (Technology Education, Family and Consumer Science, Research, and Novels).
At the 8th Grade Level, students do have electives in Spanish, Art, Business Math, Hands-On Science, Bell Choir, and Theater.

Students also have electives in music at all three grade levels and participate in Physical Education/Health or Practical Living every other day.
Each day, our students have the opportunity to start out their day with a nutritious breakfast. Students love to come in early, sit with their friends and socialize, and start out their day on a positive note with breakfast.
Our regular school day runs from 7:45-3:05. Our LMC is open Monday through Thursday for students to complete their homework, do research for classes, or simply read a book or magazine if they choose.
We are very proud of our school and all it has to offer. We have state of the art facilities, a terrific and caring staff, great parent support, and wonderful students to work with. We are committed to preparing our students for the 21st Century and to help them develop into respectful young adults.
Please feel free to stop by and see the great things happening in our school.
