The School National Geographic Bee is less than four weeks away. As a class you can hone your geographic skills by answering one Geography question every day until then. Prepare vigorously and learn more about God’s amazing world!

Geography Answer:  The Grand Banks, a section of the North American continental shelf east and south of Newfoundland, is a cod-fishing region in the Atlantic Ocean.

Geography Question:  The rock paintings of Sierra de San Francisco attract people to the Baja Peninsula of which country?  (nm 11/20)

Due to a curious turn of events, Miss Winslow has another two SilverTips tickets waiting for some crazy hockey fan…$14 each for next week Wed. at 7pm.  First come first serve.

 

SENIORS you MUST turn in your graduation packet to Mrs. Staat BY FRIDAY.  There are 5 forms still missing  Bvl 11/20

Seniors if you would like to help with pizza distribution this quarter, please talk with Mr. Van Loo by Friday.  Bvl 11/20

 

We are again having a canned food drive to help stock the Love INC food bank. Please start bringing your canned goods to your homeroom on Wednesday. The collection will continue through Wednesday of next week. (sf 11/16-29)

 

Basketball Concessions signups are due to Mrs. Vis this week – remember to turn yours in (av 11.20)

Auditions for the Spring Play will be held on Dec. 9th and 10th. Rehearsals will begin in January. Interested students should pick up an information packet in Room 421 and sign up. The packet contains all the information related to the play. Lots of great parts for everyone! (ch 11/24).

 

Girls soccer – turn in your neatly folded warm ups, shorts, jerseys and a piece of paper with your name on it inside your soccer bag to Mr. Vis by Friday.  (rv 11.21)

Athletics

BASKETBALL PLAYERS & CHEERLEADELRS.  Just a reminder that your Medical cards, basketball season contracts and concussion/head injury contracts are all due by today  Thursday.  Turn these  in to Mr. DeKok, not your coaches.

 

BOYS LOCKER ROOM: The janitor is getting tired of picking up your underwear, towels and other items  that do not belong on the floor at the end of the day. Please do your part of putting  items in your lockers or on  the racks in the locker room.

 

Basketball Season passes are now on sale. We have twelve home games.  A season pass costs $45.00 for adults. Contact Mr. DeKok for passes.
